    Kidderminster Film Roadshow

    Date : 11th August 2012
    Times : 10:00 - 17:00
Location : Boars Head (map) and St. George's Church (map)

This year will see Worcestershire’s first ever Film Festival. We are celebrating local film-makers and inspiring people to pick up cameras and tell their own stories. As a part of this, we are running a roadshow of events across the county.

    At the
Boars Head, we will be screening locally produced films and celebrating their makers. We will be holding a workshop on creating a web series and would like to invite everyone to join us. We particularly would like to invite film-makers from the area to network and be involved in future film developments.

At St. George's Church, are inviting anybody who has memories or used to work at the forgotten cinemas of Kidderminster. Do you remember the Picture House in Kidderminster or perhaps the Salters in Droitwich? We are building an online album called Worcestershire Cinema Through The Ages and would the opportunity to talk to you or see any pictures you have of the times.

    Kidderminster Film Roadshow is
    FREE to attend.
